Open Writing Contests
Note from Mrs. Maloney:
Below is information about some writing contests to which you could submit your writing. Many contest sites include winning entries from past years. Winning pieces can inform you about an individual contest, including its standards and perhaps even its taste; winning pieces can also inspire and teach you.
What is said about the lottery is also true of writing contests: "You can't win it if you're not in it!"
Please send me a note at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any info to share that will help me maintain an accurate and complete list of contests.
